Frequently asked questions

What does a sauna shirt actually do?

The thermal lining traps your body heat, so you warm up faster and sweat more during a workout. It turns up the intensity of the training you already do.

What about the number on the scale?

Sweat is water. Any drop on the scale right after a session comes back when you rehydrate. ThermoCore makes your training feel harder; lasting change still comes from training, food and sleep.

How is this different from a plastic sauna suit?

It's built like real training gear: a stretch shell, a thermal lining and reinforced seams. No crinkling, no ripping on the first burpee, and you can wear it to the gym without looking like you're wrapped in a trash bag.

How should it fit?

Close to the body, like a compression-style training shirt, so the lining stays in contact with your skin. Check the size chart on each product page. Between sizes? Size up for layering, stay true to size for a snug fit.

Is it safe?

Drink plenty of water before, during and after. Stop if you feel dizzy or unwell. Don't use it if you're pregnant or have a heart condition without medical advice, and skip it in already-hot conditions.

How do I wash it?

Hand wash cold and air dry. Don't iron or tumble dry: heat damages the lining.

What if it doesn't fit?

Send it back. The full returns policy is linked at the bottom of every page, or message us and we'll sort it out.

Drink your water.

Stay hydrated. ThermoCore increases sweat during exercise; results vary with diet and training. Drink plenty of water. Stop if you feel dizzy or unwell. Not for use by people who are pregnant or have heart conditions without medical advice.
